GIC Khoont
Located in the serene Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, PM SHRI G.B. Pant Government Inter College Khoont offers its students a value-based quality education. Established in 1981 as a junior high school, the institution has grown significantly, being upgraded to senior secondary status in 2006.
The school takes pride in its location, situated in the homeland of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant, Bharat Ratna, after whom it is also named.

Activities In The PM Shri School
Under the PM Shri scheme, a flagship mission and the dream project ofthe honorable Prime Minister, many activities are being organized in the school. Until the school was capped as one of the PM Shri schools, it had been reeling under scarcity of budget for developing infrastructure. During the current financial year the school has received a grant of more than four lakh seventy two thousand rupees; Also a grant has been issued to the developing agency fortiling the assembly area and the activity ground.
